AAbtivo

Pilot participant terms

These terms apply to everyone taking part in the Abtivo controlled private pilot: customers, store staff, riders and the operator's admin staff. By creating an account or using the pilot, you agree to them.

Draft — requires review by the pilot owner and a legal adviser before the pilot starts.

Notice version: pilot-2026-09-v1

Who runs the pilot

Abtivo is a project and product name. It is not a separately incorporated company or registered legal entity. The pilot is operated by Mervin Sarsale (“the operator”). In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator, Mervin Sarsale, and anyone he authorises to help run the pilot.

Simulated commerce only

Abtivo is currently operated as a controlled private pilot. Pilot participants are real people, but orders, payments, refunds and payouts shown in Abtivo are simulated for testing purposes only. No real goods are purchased, sold or delivered through Abtivo during this phase, and Abtivo must not be used to conduct real commercial transactions.

  • No real money is charged, refunded or paid out. Stores receive no settlement and riders receive no payouts; any earnings shown are for display only.
  • Placing, confirming or accepting an order in Abtivo creates no real purchase, sale, debt or payment.
  • Don't hand over, sell or deliver real goods or money because of an Abtivo order.
  • Don't enter real card, bank or e-wallet details anywhere in the pilot.

Taking part

  • The pilot is for invited participants aged 18 or over only.
  • Customers join with an invitation that is tied to their email address. The operator creates each store's first owner account and every rider account. Other members of a store's team, including any additional owners, join with an invitation tied to their email address (or use a pilot account they already have) and are then added to the store's team by one of its owners.
  • Accounts are personal. Keep your password private and don't share your invitation or your account.
  • The operator can suspend an account, end your participation or end the pilot at any time, for example because of misuse, a security concern or the end of the test.

Test activities and safety

  • Store and rider activities in the pilot are test activities. The pilot provides no pay, employment or insurance.
  • If you travel as part of a test, you do so voluntarily. Follow traffic laws, stop in a safe place before using the app, and never use it while driving or riding.
  • In an emergency, contact local emergency services first (911 in the Philippines), then tell pilot support.

Acceptable use

  • Use only your own account and give accurate information.
  • Don't try to get into other people's accounts or data, get around security, or overload or disrupt the service.
  • Don't upload unlawful, offensive or misleading content, or other people's personal information without their permission.
  • Don't use Abtivo to arrange or carry out real commercial transactions.
  • Report bugs, security problems or anything that looks wrong to pilot support rather than testing it further yourself.

A test service

Abtivo is a test service and may change or stop being available. It may be incomplete or contain errors, and features may be changed or removed. There is no guarantee that the service will work as expected. Personal information is corrected, anonymised, retained or deleted in accordance with the privacy notice, approved retention rules, privacy requests, security or incident needs, and applicable requirements.

Support

Pilot support is available Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Philippine Time. It isn't available 24/7. You can send a message at any time; messages sent outside support hours are handled during the next support hours. See pilot support for how to reach it.

Your information

The privacy notice explains how your personal information is collected, used, kept and deleted, and how to make a privacy request.

Leaving the pilot

You can stop using the pilot at any time. To close your account or ask for your information to be deleted, contact pilot support. There is no self-service account deletion in the pilot: the operator suspends your account and then anonymises it, as the privacy notice explains.

Changes to these terms

If these terms or the privacy notice change materially, customers, store staff and riders will be asked to read and accept the new version before they can keep using their account on the website or in the apps. The operator tells admin staff about changes directly.
